Crazy Week

Hi this week has been different, there was a sister in our zone that got her visa to Taiwan and left last Tuesday so that left her companion with no companion. So she was with us for the week, until her new companion comes tomorrow, when transfers happen. Sister Le and I will be with each other "A HOLE NOTHER" (that's for Shon) transfer. But this next transfer will be a 5 week transfer.  So this last week we were helping the sister (sister Hamilton) in her wards so we were covering 3 wards this last week. Its sounds like there will be some crazy weeks coming up we shall see and I don't know If I will be able to handle it, I'm going to have to trust in the Lord big time. I feel as if my brain is not here, so sorry for the lame letter.

Mission Prep

HI,

This week has been good.  It seemed to be filled with us seeing less active members and doing service. Yesterday we were invited to go to a mission prep class. The youth had prepared to teach a lesson to an investigator. They asked the missionaries to invite the people they were teaching and also people that recently joined the church to come so they can practice with them. We were there to help them out. I had the chance to go be in one of the lesson. It was a youth companionship and a nonmember friend they had brought and me, the only full time missionary in the room. I thought for a second of being worried, but then I felt there was no need, because whatever happens, happens.  We were all going to do our best and trust in the Lord. It turned out really well. The friend had many questions and we were able to answer them and help her understand. The youth did most of the teaching and I filled in the blanks. They did a super job! the spirit was strong in the room. Their friend was prepared to hear the message.  It was fun to see them teach. It helped me see where I started and where I am now.  My ability to teach for understanding has grown more than I thought. I know that the Lord is turning me into something great. Everything is possible with the Lord. I have been learning to overcome my fears one step at a time and that the Lord is right next to me, helping me take those steps. Keep the faith that is ours to have and help others find that faith. I love this great work!  It is here for all of us to do. I love you forever, and you will always be in my prayers.

Till we write again

P.S.  Also we helped in a primary class by helping them want to share the gospel. They're wearing our name tags.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Hey Happy St. Patrick's day!!!
I got the package thank you so much I really like the half candy bar! That was funny. I don't think I can thank you enough for all the packages you have sent. Half the time I don't think I have even told if I got them.
Well this week seemed to be a hard week for finding. but that's okay because this week is a new week and we are going to have the faith like the brother of Jared and find. something that this last week has taught me. Faith is power, to be believing, and how great the atonement is. it's crazy how the lord works and shows us the things we need to work on or change. this week the same principals keep coming up and I think that is one of the ways the Lord has shown me the things I needed to work on and pay closer attention on.
I really don't know what to say this week it's hard to express what I want over E-mail but after the mission I will be able to tell you many story's. I do my best to write in my journal every day so I don't forget the small little things that make the mission. the mission is great, I love my companion, the weather has been a little bit warm lately. I love this ward. and I love all of you at home. keep up the great work at home!

Appointment

Hey
I really don't know what to say we went on a exchange again this week.  It went well this time I stayed in my area and was with sister Youngberg. I learn so much from her. she reminded me of things I need to do so that I can try to be the best missionary I can be. so yesterday we were going by some people to see if they still lived there and no one was home. finely it was time to go home and we still haven't found anyone. but as we were heading to our car. across the street was this guy and Sister Le with out hesitation went over to him and started talking with him. we didn't talk long but we set up an appointment to meet with him on Wednesday. Sister Le is super great and has been a great example of talking with everyone. I'm Glad everyone at home is busy eating food and important thing like that! love you lots. sorry it's short.

                                                                                                till we write again,

Exchange

Hey
Sounds like everyone is busy with life. That's good! Every week goes faster and faster! Tomorrow I will have been officially out in the mission field for 9 months - half way through. I don't feel like I have been out that long. I guess time flies when you're having fun! this week has been good, many adventures going on. I don't think I have ever been to so many seniors homes ever!  This week we went on an exchange with our sister training leader, Sister Jessop.  She is one amazing sister. I learned so much from her example. When we were together we were able find some new people for them to teach. We had our plans for the day and were going by some of the people on our plans, and they were not home but we were in the right area at the right moment to meet some people that wanted to take lessons and had open their door to us. Sometimes plans fall through and we don't know what we need to be doing. But something I am learning is that, that is the moment when I need to stop and ask if there is a reason I need to be in this area at this moment and what what is that reason? Then trust that the Lord will help me and walk in faith. This is something that has been on my mind sense our exchange. It also helps when we start off with effective planning every night. I am reminded all the time that I need to trust in the Lord always and not in my own strength! I love this great work and I love all of you and what great things you are doing with your life!
